Fashion Mugs

ONE 80 PLACE

Our DNA at Hampden is about supporting our community and supporting those who need it most. We created our Fashion Quote Mugs to remind you that fashion can inspire you each morning to change your day and someone else’s at the same time. €4 from each mug sale will be donated to One80Place. This covers a meal for one person at the homeless shelter.

Our Past Donation Partners

Thanks to our generous clients, we've been able to donate to the following charities.

City Harvest

CITY HARVEST

Thank you for shopping with us during our We Love New York weekend in September 2020. Because of you, Hampden donated a percentage of our sales from the weekend to City Harvest to help provide almost 5,000 pounds of food.

Donors Choose

DONORS CHOOSE

In August 2020, Hampden and 10 other merchants on King Street hosted a Tax Free Weekend Block Party. 9% of in-store sales from the weekend from each store was donated to Donors Choose. Donors Choose is a non-profit classroom funding site for public school teachers. They connect teachers in high-need communities with donors who want to help.

ACLU

AMERICAN CIVIL LIBERTIES UNION

The ACLU dares to create a more perfect union — beyond one person, party, or side. Our mission is to realize this promise of the United States Constitution for all and expand the reach of its guarantees.

When the Constitution was written, “We the People” did not mean all of us. Slavery created a legacy of oppression for Black people that is woven into our institutions today — from education and health care to the criminal legal system. We need structural reform to dismantle the deep-seated racism and inequity that permeates our institutions — including law enforcement.

Black people are over-policed, overrepresented in jails and prisons, and disproportionately subjected to police brutality. In the wake of the countless Black lives lost at the hands of police, we’re demanding justice and fighting for a reimagined vision of policing in America — one that limits the scope, power, and responsibilities of police. Valuing Black life doesn’t just mean spending less on police — it means investing more in Black communities. To create a world where “we the people” truly means all of us, we must dismantle systemic racism and work to repair centuries of harm inflicted on communities of color.

Grassroots Law Project

GRASSROOTS LAW PROJECT

Grassroots Law Project bridges the gap between grassroots organizing and legal expertise in criminal justice reform by bringing millions of us together to address the most pressing and egregious failures of the system, hold powerful actors accountable, and advocate for deep structural change.

They are the team behind the campaigns to free Rodney Reed, free Michael Thompson, stop the execution of Nate Woods, and get justice for Ahmaud Arbery, Breonna Taylor, and George Floyd. These cases have taught them that our success depends on high-quality work by legal professionals, and widespread, relentless organizing that draws on the power of motivated volunteers to do meaningful work, whether it's donating a few dollars or spending hours on the phone calling important decision makers.

They're building a grassroots movement for change to provide a new resource for those without expertise, finances, or social reach to seek justice with us, together—and we can't do this without you. Remember, nobody is voiceless. They are just unheard. Grassroots Law Project exists to amplify their voices and to fight for them every step of the way.

2020 Mom

2020 MOM PROJECT

2020 Mom is a national organization with a mission to close gaps in maternal mental health care through education, collaboration, and advocacy. They understand the health care system and engage advocates to drive change in their communities and states. 2020 Mom has issued a national call to action that sets forth an aggressive new path for solving what some have called one of the biggest public health concerns of our time: the silent maternal mental health crisis impacting up to 20% of expecting and new moms. They serve as a catalyst for policy and systems change by building nationwide partnerships with dedicated stakeholders, pursuing advocacy opportunities, providing training and tools, and promoting recommendations for hospitals, insurers and providers.

Covid-19 Response Fund

COVID-19 RESPONSE FUND

The world has never faced a crisis like COVID-19. The pandemic is impacting communities everywhere. It’s never been more urgent to support the global response, led by the World Health Organization (WHO). Donations support WHO’s work, including with partners, to track and understand the spread of the virus; to ensure patients get the care they need and frontline workers get essential supplies and information; and to accelerate research and development of a vaccine and treatments for all who need them.
